I was watching a 60 minute report about the poison called, "Furadan" created by FMC Corportation which is meant to kill insects that attack crops. However herders of cattle in Africa have started to use Furadan on dead cattle to kill lions. Furadan is odorless and tasteless so the lions do not know it is there and die a slow death from it. The reason the herders use Furadan is to prevent lions from attacking their cattle, however at the rate lions are dying from Furadan soon lions may become on the extinct list. Any thoughts?
