Comments: Religion was the old control method, the old thing that required faith. Now that technology is disproving religion left right and center, religion should die out within the next 100-500 years. however the economy is simply the new religion. Have faith in me and you shall be rewarded. Sounds pretty similar. Another man made institution or idea, whatever you want to call it, that requires faith to operate. Look at the current world recession. We didn't have confidence (faith) in the market(god) and due to are frivolous spending(sinning) the economy(god) is punishing us.
