Deaf mute beaten to death

A handy man, who is unable to speak or hear, was beaten with a concrete block outside the abandoned house he called home in Gasparillo last week. Deoraj Boysie, 48, died at the Intensive Care Unit at the San Fernando General Hospital on Saturday. Villagers said he was born mute and survived by doing odd jobs, including landscaping and painting, in the community. Ref. Source 4
