I am not sure that this is going to work in a US court they need to take this to a international court. Even then there is no guarantee that they are going to see any of the money they seek.

I think more so here is not the money individual will see but it sends a strong message out internationally that such hate will be acted on and the one who encourage it will answer for their actions.
