Pregnant & Paralyzed

I just watched a documentary about a woman who was paralyzed having a full term birth. Her husband had to do both the chores of mother and father. The mother who is unable to sit up said that having a child gave her hope and something to live for. However the question comes up if it is not undue burden on her husband. What are your thoughts on this?

Well, he married her when she was already paralyzed. He knew the implications beforehand. It is obvious that he loves her so much as to fulfill her dream. She also feels now her family is complete which means they won't have any more kids. It will be hard in the beginning but as the baby grows and is more independent, things will get easier.
