PM plans to compel community work

Prime Minister Gordon Brown vows to make sure every young person will do 50 hours of voluntary work by the time they are 19. Ref. Source 8

In Ontario you have to do 40 hours of volunteer work to graduate. I is a good thing in that the student does get real references when they go to get their first real job.
