I enjoy Fox News, but I have to wonder sometimes by the particular showing of the female News Anchors' legs. In some cases it is not necessary for the camera to even focus on their legs but they do, worst yet they are not even seated right. Here are some examples, please share your thoughts:

I believe that they are their just for the show. They want to attract men to their newscast so they are using as much sex appeal as possible to get the men to tune in.

Well, isn't having a 'pretty face' enough? Do they really have to show so much legs? What will they do next show upper cleavage? Also, if anyone wants to make this an issue why don't they have the men wear something less formal if they want to talk equality? I can see it now - Fox male news anchors wearing leotard tight jerseys to show their 'muscles'?

I have noticed that on a couple of ocassions. Local news has them shown from the waist up but I figure the reason for the prime news outlets is competition. This isn't unique to Fox News. I see it happening on CNN too. I don't think I've seen it on the BBC, but I don't watch them that much.

The first lady showing her legs is terrible, I mean is really bad. Concerning male anchors, I don't think they would want to do that unless they want to go bankrupt. JB, did you take a look at the men, they are not the younger/good looking type.

It makes the women look cheap. They need an image fix and try reporting better then they'll have more sucess rather than trying some cheap Hollywood tactic to get more viewers.

I would not be surprised to see a lot of cleavage coming to a news source in the next year or so. As the stations get more and more competitive they will use what they can to get the viewers. I would not be surprised at all to see men starring at cleavage as the news is read.
