I doubt touch screens will replace the mouse because it takes less effort to move a mouse and a mouse is way more precise than your finger could ever be.

I know I like to use a mouse and while a touch screen sounds nice how many times do you have to clean it because of the finger prints on the screen? I thin a mouse will keep the screen free of a lot of unnecessary finger prints.
