Sale Delayed
WASHINGTON (AP) - The U.S. Supreme Court has granted a request to delay the planned sale of Chrysler to a group led by Italian automaker Fiat. Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg said in an order that the sale is "stayed pending further order." The action indicates that the delay may only be temporary. Ref. USAToday
I doubt that this new company is going to save any of the dealerships that have gone away in my are since the bankruptcy. I will not buy a Chrysler as the closest authorized dealer is now over a hour away. I do not feel like driving a hour to get factory authorized repairs.
Chrysler reopening plant for new Viper
Chrysler has announced that it will reopen the Conner plant for the production of the next generation SRT Viper, which will be unwrapped at the New York Motor Show in April before it goes on sale later in the year. Ref. Source 7
