In an area known for its high murder rate, Laventillians are asking themselves what caused someone to walk up to this particular pre-teen on Sunday night, pursue him and pump four rounds into his back.
As far as they are concerned, all he was guilty of was his passion for drums through the Mawasi Experience and going to church.

T&T has lost a fine young man
I am deeply saddened by the brutal, senseless murder of young Adrian Richards, and I cannot begin to understand what this family is going through. From what we have been made to understand, this was a youngster who was positive in many ways. Very often we have family members claiming that their sons were paragons of virtue, when in fact they were quite the opposite. Ref. Source 1
