As US Secretary of State, as First Lady, as President of the USA - BILL CLINTON Vice President, is it possible? Some people seem to love her tremedously while others hate her to scorn, how do you feel about Hillary Clinton?

Well, we knew that would happen when they had their "secret" meeting at the end of the primaries. She just won't go away, will she?

Barack Obama Criticized by Pro-Life Women's Group for Hillary Clinton Pick

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- Incoming president Barack Obama has selected pro-abortion Sen. Hillary Clinton to represent the United States abroad as the Secretary of State. The selection is coming under fire from the Susan B. Anthony List, a pro-life women's group that says Clinton would help Obama promote abortion. SBA List president Marjorie Dannenfelser tells LifeNews.com that Clinton's selection is the latest in a line of appointments that shows Obama isn't serious about finding middle ground on reducing abortions. "President-elect Barack Obama spoke of finding 'common ground' on abortion policy, but so far his personnel picks preclude this policy," she said. "Women and children deserve authentic common ground that affirms the lives of both. It is hard to see how these aggressive abortion advocates, so out of the mainstream woman's view, would help forge such ground." Clinton's appointment and Ellen Moran, the executive director of the pro-abortion Emily's List, who Obama named as his White House communications director are "headstrong advocates of a no-exceptions, abortion on demand policy" Dannenfelser said. "Personnel is policy, especially in Washington, D.C. And these abortion advocate picks speak louder than words," she added.

I find this interesting...

So all the way before he even picked a VP running mate, Obama was deciding cabinet. I only mention this because I knew that Hillary was pushing for a prime cabinet position when she finally bowed out of the race. If he was talking Secretary of State before even having agreed on a VP, you just know that those discussions between Obama and Hillary before he took the Democratic nomination were about her spot!

Hillary Clinton Gets Planned Parenthood Abortion Award, Pro-Life Advocates Rally

Houston, TX (LifeNews.com) -- Secretary of State Hillary Clinton received an award from Planned Parenthood on Friday night that pro-life advocates complain is named for its racist founder. During the gala ceremony, pro-life advocates turned out in large numbers resulting in a sea of red shirts to show their opposition. During the event, Clinton said that emphasizing and promoting abortion is a key issue in President Barack Obama's foreign policy. She also defended taxpayer funded abortions for poor women. "Here at home there are still too many women who are denied their rights because of income, opposition, and attitudes that they harbor," she said. While Clinton spoke an estimated 900 people filled the area along Discovery Green outside the George R. Brown convention center. The pro-life advocates wore red shirts and had a unified message that Clinton and Obama are wrong on abortion. That extends to Obama's decision to overturn the Mexico City Policy and force Americans to fund groups that promote and perform abortions overseas. "We want this administration to know that we don't want to pay for the death of all these children," pro-life supporter Sheila Theisen told KHOU. "There's no reason to be killing children. There's no reason." The Margaret Sanger award that Clinton received is named after the Planned Parenthood founder who has been criticized for harboring eugenics views. Ref. Source 4

Hillary Clinton Position on Family Planning and Abortion Violates Cairo Agreement

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com/CFAM) -- Last week at a United States (US) House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton stated that there was a new administration in place with different values, beliefs and global agenda. Nothing illustrated this rupture with previous U.S. Policy more than her admission that the Obama administration interprets the term "reproductive health" to include abortion. In response to a question from Congressman Christopher Smith (R-NJ) on whether her definition of the phrases "reproductive health," "reproductive services," and "reproductive rights" includes abortion, Secretary Clinton stated that, "We [the current US administration] happen to think that family planning is an important part of women's health and reproductive health includes access to abortion that I believe should be safe, legal and rare." Clinton's linkage of family planning with abortion is not just a severe break with the previous administration; it is a clear violation of the Cairo Program for Action, which her husband's government helped to negotiate in 1994. The Cairo document explicitly states in two places that abortion should in no case "be promoted as a method of family planning." Ref. Source 2
