As US Secretary of State, as First Lady, as President of the USA - BILL CLINTON Vice President, is it possible? Some people seem to love her tremedously while others hate her to scorn, how do you feel about Hillary Clinton?

Hillary Clinton said Tuesday she takes personal responsibility for her 2016 election loss, but also pointed to the timing of a letter from FBI Director James Comey and Russian interference as factors.

"If the election had been on October 27, I would be your president," she told CNN's Christiane Amanpour at a Women for Women event in New York.

"It wasn't a perfect campaign, there is no such thing, but I was on the way to winning until a combination of Jim Comey's letter on October 28 and Russian WikiLeaks raised doubts in the minds of people who were inclined to vote for me and got scared off," she said. "The evidence for that intervening event is, I think, compelling, persuasive, and so we overcame a lot in the campaign."

She also agreed that misogyny played a role in her loss.

"Yes, I do think it played a role. I think other things did as well. Every day that goes by, we find out more about the unprecedented inference, including from a foreign power whose leader is not a member of my fan club," Clinton said, referring to Russian President Vladimir Putin. "It is real, it is very much a part of the landscape, political and socially and economically."

Clinton also pointed out multiple times she won the popular vote, earning more votes than President Trump, despite losing the Electoral College and hence the White House. Ref. CNN.

It took her awhile to get out there and start speaking about her election lost. She looks like she has recovered and can talk about it without welling up or throwing a fit. She blamed the FBI director and Wikileaks but in the end she is the candidate.

Taking responsibility and then saying but is like saying I'm sorry but. Everything before the but gets lost in the additional explanation. If you take responsibility there is no but. She does not know she would have won on October 27th. She, the DC establishment, the press, most of the rest of the world (Including me) thought she was going to win on November 8th, and we all were wrong so she could be just as wrong about October 27th. The states that voted for her opponent left President Trump with a comfortable margin of electoral votes and had one of them flipped he still would have won. I doubt all those people made their minds up or changed their minds in the last week.

I think she is funny and still thinks she will be a good president for this country. I find that she is way too willing to have people killed off so she keeps her secrets. This is not the sign of a person who should be president. Maybe a dictator but not a president.

I'm a democrat and have zero respect for her. Instead of admitting that she made mistakes and ran a poor campaign she is blaming everyone and everything but herself. She comes off as a sore loser. How bad of a candidate do you have to be to lose to Donald Trump? Look at some of the things he was caught saying. Truly unbelievable. The DNC cheated Bernie to give her the nomination and now she says they didn't do anything for her. Sorry Hillary, they couldn't rig the presidential election like they rigged the primary.

Kyrroeth,

I absolutely agree with you on this. My goodness, the Democrats could have run a corpse and beaten him… but instead they chose an anchor and then wondered when they sank. I was truly hoping Vice President Biden jumped into the campaign. He always struck me as honest man. I disagree with him on many things and agree in others. But he would have had my vote and I venture to say a lot of people in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Florida that vote for President Trump.

She has been detached for so long she has zero understanding of how the garbage she says effects regular people's perception of her. I mean, first she said she never lies. Then she lied about her server. Then she lied about lying. Then she changed her story so it was a smaller lie. Then she talked about how she and her husband were dead broke when they left the oval office. Sure, they just bought two multi-million dollar homes. I wish I was broke like that. And then she was so tone deaf she didn't even know what was going on in the very states she needed to win.

This is the first election where I wasn't able to vote for one of the major party candidates. I was that disappointed with both of them. That said, I think we now need to give President Trump our support where we can so he can succeed. This goes for Democrats and Republicans. It shouldn't always only be about politics and scoring political points. Sometimes politicians have to put the welfare of the country first.

Yup, she keeps on amplifying the reasons she didn't win. It's everyone's fault but hers. She wasn't completely tone deaf, the DNC was. Her team actually got information from the head of the Democrat Party in Michigan telling them there were problems there. They chose to disregard it… not the DNC. Not only did they disregard this information, they derided it and castigated the source. Quite the strategy to win. Yup, she should keep on doing this for the next 3 1/2 years so we don't forget why she lost and who she is… a failed candidate, mediocre Senator, dismal SECSTATE whose policies left the Middle East in a shambles, and now we know a poor sport too. Perfect, she should run again.
