Violence in USVI shuts down Jouvert Carnival Celebration

ST THOMAS, USVI -- US Virgin Islands Police on St Thomas are investigating three separate incidents of violence that occurred during Thursday morning’s annual Jouvert celebration. At about 8:05 a.m. in the area of Griffith Park a 14-year-old male was stabbed in the abdomen. Minutes later, a 19-year-old male was shot.
