Take A Week Off Tyler...

Tyler Stolken doesn't want to tell the first thing that came to his mind when asked:

You see Tyler's parents taught him not to say bad things about people. Good job parents, we need more like you! The problem is that Tyler's school gets graded, rewarded or penalized more than he does for answering questions and answering them correctly. By disappointing Tyler's school management, Tyler gets to have a week's vacation or suspension as it is called.

Upon granting the suspension, Mrs. McCarthy told the 9 year old:

One can't help but note the order of importance from the educators statement: school, teachers and then bud (or Tyler). It certainly is so much more about the federal funding rather than educating our children, so unfortunate. The best part is that Mrs. McCarthy doesn't even understand the grading system of the test and accused Tyler of bringing down the entire curve.

Perhaps Tyler should have just called her a witch. I can think of worse things, but shall not share them here. What do you think?

Tyler Week Take

All I can say is it figures that the state run school would handle something like this totally wrong. Now you have taken a kid that loved school and was a A-b student and made a child who now hates the thought of school. I wonder what he is like today and if he is still is having a hard time with tests.
