People are getting so curious about the woman that Rev. Cutie was with that reporters gathered at the home of the alleged woman: Rohama Canelis, a Miami Beach resident and divorcee. She may have become either scared or annoyed by the number of reporters so the police were called to escort her into protective custody.

This is a riot. They want to take away his collar for being with a woman. What would of happened if he was with a boy just transfer him and he could keep his collar. This is why religion sometimes puts unnecessary restriction on what is natural! Its about time the Catholic hierarchy give in and let priests marry.

If you are thinking of a life preaching religion, but still want to occasionally slip your hand inside of a woman's bikini on a public beach, the Catholic religion is probably not for you...try another religion that is more in touch with the "Modern Jesus" thinking. There are several, so you wont have too hard of a time in finding one.

They aren't going to take away his collar, but he will have to take a back seat for a while and prove himself again before he is let to lead a parish.

I agree that the church should continually re-evaluate the call for celibacy for their priests. Celibacy for priest is a law within the church and not doctrine, therefore it can be changed at anytime. The church had dealt with this many times as it has moved from one side of thinking to the other over the centuries.

They are both from the same State so one has to wonder if they did not meet from her attending his service, that would make it all the more worst. Cutie is also a big media guy, has his own book and is well known, what made them feel they would not be caught? David Letterman talked about the whole thing yesterday and said we should not worry that the Father was just on 'Spring Break'.

You know, even though I agree that the Catholic Church should re-evaluate their position about Priests and celibacy does not mean it is acceptable for a Priest to do something that he clearly knows go against his religion. If he does not like it, then just leave the Church and live a "normal" life!
