I am not sure that one can say this about everyone who is single. I think that a house owned by a single woman is going to be better cared for than one owned by a single man. It is my experience that singe men are harder on their property.

Gossip, I never heard about that. For me, it has to do with the condition of the house and of course once you have kids the houses tend to be a little more rough up, nevertheless you always fix it nicely before selling it so it is not an issue.
