Little House On The Prairie - Tv Series

Comments: I used to watch a TV series when I was younger called "Little House On The Prairie" in the credits in the beginning of each episode, you will see (based on the book: Little House On The Prairie) but that was wrong, I read the actual book and it was NOT based on that book, the information is on the book "On the Banks of Plum creek" that book explains the story, but this TV series saying that it was based on the book Little House On The Prairie! That is very strange.

What this show is about: This TV series shows the life of Laura Ingalls and her family in a town, it also has a pilot before it shows all that.

I find that the show is too "Cheesy" and the show is completely different compared to the book "On the Banks of Plum Creek".

Laura Ingles Wilder wrote an account of her life from about three until her children were born. These memoirs were assembled in a set of nine books. Both 'Little House on the Prairie' and 'On the Banks of Plum Creek' are two of these books. The program Little House on the Prairie is actually based loosely on all these books at once.

I loved this show so much growing up. It was one of the few things our family would actually gather together around 8pm to watch just after the news.
