Many English soccer fans felt that Chelsea were hard done by in the semi-final of the UEFA Champion's league this year. They could have been awarded no less than three penalty kicks, but the referee waved play on.
In my opinion this is an indication of their players reputation for feigning injury in past games and appealing for punishment on their opponents for non-existent infringements.
The ref thought they were up to their old tricks by crying wolf again.
They deserved their misfortune, but their fans deserve better.
