I have a rotary push lawn mower from sears. Not sure who makes them but they are better constructed then the others in that price range. We went this route as we have a small amount of grass and now do not have to store gasoline. The rotary style is also easier on the grass as it cuts clean edges rather then shredded ends on the grass blades. You can nice electric models as well.
I hope you like the Lawnboy they are a good reputation but I find they are heavier to push then some models. I still have a preference for the ones that have a manual throttle and choke over the newer styles with the auto throttles.
All I advise people to get models that provide at least a 2 inch cut so you can reduce watering in the hotter months.
The model I have has a manual throttle that is why I bought it. I like to be able to crank it up more for the taller grass areas. I also put bigger wheels in the back thus making it a bit easier to push. With almost a 1/3 of an acre to mow I would not want a non engine push mower but I do like those from the olden days of lawn mowing.
