Excel2mysql 1.0 is a freeware program that allows you to change Excel files .xls to .sql. The free version allows you to change up to 10,000 records, but you have to jump through hoops to get the actual program since you have to sign up with an Email and enter two codes. The other downturn is that it does not allow much customization, so unless you are already familiar with the extra SQL commands you will need you won't find much with the program.
