$50m pledge for cycleways

The Government will put $50 million into a national cycleway as part of a plan to take tourism upmarket, ditching the focus on backbackers and package tourists. Ref. Source 3

Not only is this cycleway a draw card for tourists coming to New Zealand it is set to provide many jobs, which should help with the unemployment rate right down the country. There also cant be many countries in the World where you can cycle from one end to another (especially with the sights you would see right here in New Zealand).
