Teen Movies & Dirty Words

Trends are showing that movies directed at teenagers, though more violent, thrust fewer dirty words in their direction, according to a study by three BYU communications professors. The trio analyzed 90 top-grossing movies from 1980 to 2006, coding a myriad of words - from the Federal Communication Commission's "seven dirty words" to sexual, excretory, mild and strong words - and found that today's movies contain half the bad language. Words Dirty and Movies Teen

While I am glad that the teen movies talk less dirty I am not pleased that they have more violence and sexual themes to them. I think we can still clean them up some more.
