Cheetah Strip Bar Suit - Page 3

No, I actually think Cheetah's will settle because the size of the lawsuit that will be brought against them will be much larger than the price of settling out of court. If they go through with a trial, the money to be lost will be a lot more. I think the guy that got his face smashed by the petite dancer will want to settle to keep his name from continuing to become common water-cooler talk.

If I were in charge of Cheetah's, it is simple. Girls do not strike customers. The first time there is touching that they do not appreciate...call a bouncer and the guy is out of the place...no questions asked. Bouncers do not strike customers. If they are called to remove a customer, they do so with as little contact as possible. They also need to post the rules for customers at the front door. When they are paying the cover, have them acknowledge that they read the rules. Closed circuit camera at the entrance recording the acknowledgement would be a good idea.

There are a couple things here that I haven't seen brought up that seem obvious to me...
First off, if this girl is a dancer, and as you say, she is used to guys touching/slapping her butt, does anyone really believe that she would intentionally kick the guy in the face for doing the same thing that other guys do on a regular basis?
It seems obvious to me that this guy must have done something out of the ordinary for her to have responded like this. The other possibility is that she meant to push him back with her foot and things connected wrong... Ie - he leaned forward as she kicked, he was drunk and stumbled the wrong way when he saw her kicking, whatever... I just find it hard to think she would respond so violently unless she was pretty severely provoked.

I admit to having been to a few of these places over the years (shh, don't tell anyone) and I have seen these girls put up with a lot of garbage... They are amazingly patient with the stuff guys pull... And smile so very pretty if you treat them decently! *grin*

Should he have been hurt this badly if all he did was swat her butt... No! Butt <--- pun intended) I suspect he did more than that to cause the problem in the first place.
Will it cost the club some money, probably, since our society these days seems to reward people for being stupid and for lacking common sense.

Interesting to have real life experience involved here. One thing to note is that if he was drunk enough to be a nuisance (assuming he was not rationally acting his part) then the establishment should have caught on and asked him to leave.

No, by all accounts (including the dancer) he just swatted her butt really hard and she didnt appreciate it. Who knows, maybe she was having a off day and just was tired of putting up with jerks. I am sure she didnt mean to injure him to that degree, but she definitely intended to send a message of...dont do that again. Perfectly fine. She just broke the bone around his eyes and his nose and he now sees double. Opps! As a employee of Cheetah's, Cheetah's is responsible.

I have checked several reports on this and many with the dancer's quotes. He just smacked her really hard. He was a jerk. He deserved to be told that that wasnt acceptable...even as much as a smack across the face. As for him being a nuisance while drunk at a strip club, I think that description fits a few of the patrons frequenting the place.

As far as violence, I just dont think she thought the end result would be as bad as it was. While researching this, I came across several lawsuits at strip clubs revolving around the plexiglass high heeled shoes that many wear. It wouldnt take much of a kick wearing a plexiglass block to break a nose and bone.

I will have to say that I worked as a bouncer for some clubs when I was younger. I can tell you that if you have to escort a guy out of a club it is never a hands off thing. They will punch kick and otherwise fight as you drag them from the establishment. I would think that if the guy was a big jerk he would have been removed. Apparently he did not do anything that warranted the bouncers removing him. I guess people expect the women to be touched here and there otherwise many people would not go there. Since I do not go to these joints I do not know. I do know that no matter the rules people will ignore them all the time. People ignore simple rules such as one way, no left turn or no parking all the time do people think that someone is actually going to follow a rule in this type of joint?
