Security A Church Calling

Hey everyeone I was just thinking about the security around the temple the security around the prophet and so on. Are they just doing this as a job or is it an actual calling they are set apart to do?

The father of a friend of mine is a security guy for the church and for what I understand is a remunerative "calling".

They might try to call people to do it as a job. But I know they are paid for it. I know I appled for a Job to be on security at the Ogden Temple.

I wonder what the pay is like for such a job and how intense it is? On visits to the temple I did see a couple of security guys. One in a booth and the other riding around on a three wheeler. Looks like fun.
