Wanted by the Pentagon - UFO hacker appeals
A British man who used a low speed dial-up connection from his girlfriend's aunt's house to hack into the Pentagon's computers has made an appeal not to be extradited to the US in the British House of Lords.

Why should he be brought to the US? So he can be tried as a hacker? I think it is interesting that a regular low speed dial up connection can be used to get into one of the most (supposedly) highly protective interfaces. I would hope the pentagon lets him stay in england and turns their attention on how to better protect themselves from a hacker.
Basically if anything allows access via a connection then it already has a weakness. It is just like anything else in the world where security works, nothing is impenetrable.

This guy is still fighting extradition. It is said that he has a form of autism and will likely be suicidal if he has to go to the US. His little hunt for extraterrestrial life shut down the DC network for over 24 hours! What I want to know, did he find anything?
