Picture a lone woman walking six miles along the Matura coastline at night. Sometimes sunrise would meet her still on the beach, vigilantly safeguarding the shore so endangered leatherback turtles could nest in peace. I don't think she is alone anymore. She described a situation with a rasta man who tried to steal the eggs by the hundreds...with a cutlass on hand and the whole thing ended up in a big fight. I had the impression she wasn't alone.
