David Valken-Leduc is a free man today after serving five years in prison. He was ordered to be released Tuesday because all the attorneys involved agreed he did not get a fair trial in the Motel 6 shooting death of night clerk Matthew John Whicker. Well now we have a killer walking among us. I say a killer because he did admit that he had something to do with it by pleading to second degree murder. The fact that they did not have enough evidence for first degree murder means the police or the attorneys goofed up somewhere to get the required evidence against him.
