I saw the video and to be honest, the FIRST person making physical contact was the police officer who is clearly FURIOUS when he hears her screaming at him and cursing.

I do not care if your 15 or 75. IF you do not listen to instructions given to you by a officer of the law you may find yourself tazed. Her action and refusal to follow instruction lead to her being tazed. He was angry yes and I believe he was right to taze her. The fact that he had to do it a second time to get her to comply kind of proves this fact.

What the heck? Are police officers God? Listen, when the woman leaves the truck and she is cursing him, she is asking for the paper to sign. At ANY moment she touched him so the idiocy of a 300 lbs officer saying he was "scared" of an elderly woman cursing and that's why he tased her is RIDICULOUS. They are supposed to be used when a person becomes violent and tries to hit, etc. The woman clearly never did that but is the police officer who (with his big belly) pushes her, etc. She was wrong yes but he was wrong as well, typical reaction of a guy that power went into his head. Sick.

What I was wondering was if she got a heart attack from it and died then what would have happened? He would have been sent on leave or retired early. Because the old lady made it true he is a hero now? Couldn't he just take away her key and wait for backup?
