Is it true that when you use the drug Crack that you become like an insomniac unable to sleep?

You are probably thinking of meth. I have seen Crack addicts sleep. When they are fiending for their Crack, they may stay up until they find some, or until they have smoked as much as they'd like. I don't think it's known to make people insomniacs though. Meth is what is known to keep people from sleeping. Meth addicts sometimes stay up for a week or so with no sleep. Both drugs have devastating effects on the user and the people close to them.
