If it is a suit designed to be worn outside and not just for pool wear I can understand the french having a problem with it due to health reasons. I do not agree with them but I can see where they are coming from.

Yes I agree I could not see any city or pool letting them in with street cloths on. If they changed then that might be a different issue.

I do not see what the big deal with the Burqa is. I know that in many muslim societies the lady can not show her face to strange men outside her home. I found no problem with this when I was in Saudi and I think this can lead to others finding an excuse to terrorize people because they do not have the same beliefs as you. You take a little here and there and soon you have the populous not being able to do anything out of fear of them doing something that is now against the law.
