Republicans to Boehner: No Budget Without Conscience Protections

In all of U.S. History, there have never been so many women in Congress-and last week, they made sure their voices were heard. Thirteen members, all women-except for Rep. (and Dr.) John Fleming (R-La.)-sent a letter to House leadership urging Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) to refuse to pass a budget bill unless conscience rights are a part of it.

With regard to the ObamaCare contraception-abortion drug mandate, they write, "Nothing short of a full exemption for both nonprofit and for-profit entities will satisfy the demands of the Constitution and common sense." Ref. Source 1

Obama Admin Wants to Delete "Inherent Right to Life" From UN Document

The Mainstream Media in general and The New York Times in particular have set their crosshairs on the Holy See and their pro-life allies by accusing them of obstructionism during the negotiations on the outcome document for the United Nations 57th annual Commission on the Status of Women (CSW).

Nothing could be further from the truth. The EU and the US and THEIR pro-abortion allies are the obstructionists by calling for the deletion of human rights language taken from several UN founding documents such as the Charter of the United Nations and the Universal Declaration and other human rights instruments. Obama Threatens to Veto Bill Banning Abortions After 20 Weeks

President Barack Obama has issued a veto threat of a bill the House of Representatives will vote on tomorrow that would ban abortions from after 20-weeks* all the way to birth.

The White House this afternoon issued a Statement of Administration Policy indicating President Obama's advisors would recommend that he veto the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act if it were presented for his signature. The SAP containing a veto threat is standard for occasions when the president will almost certainly veto legislation pending in Congress. Ref. Source 6
