An Iranian government-linked hacker group targeted a 2020 US presidential campaign, as well as government officials, Microsoft says. The hacker group also targeted journalists and prominent Iranians living abroad, Microsoft said Friday. The company said that four email accounts were compromised by the group it calls “Phosphorous” but none of those compromised accounts were associated with a presidential campaign or current U.S. Government officials.
