One of New Zealand's greatest war heroes will tomorrow get the recognition he deserves - but not the Victoria Cross that should have been pinned on his chest on a desert battlefield 63 years ago.

Even if it was 63 years too late it is still nice to see a war hero get his due. I am happy for this guy.
