'Members only' bars fade away in Utah

SALT LAKE CITY - Jeremy Kristic and several of his friends pounded on the door at Oscar's bar yesterday promptly at 11 a.m. They wanted it to open immediately, and they wanted to drink. They had, after all, other bars to go to - before closing time at 1 a.m. Ref. Source 8

Bar Members Utah

I believe that the members only bars are going away so that they can get more customers perhaps. Plus the fact that there is getting to be more non mormon people in the city that will drink.
