All types of alcohol - wine, beer or liquor - add equally to the risk of developing breast cancer in women, American researchers said Thursday.

Alcohol causes inflammation which I think is part of why it affects the breasts. I have been told that alcohol can give women infections in their breasts or cause cysts to flare up in the breasts and ovaries. There are other products that cause inflammation, but alcohol is really not good to be ingesting.
