Even after the extremely flawed rollout of HealthCare.gov, a majority of Americans still seem to have an open mind about whether Obamacare will eventually work, and more than half the public says the current problems the system faces can eventually be solved, according to a new national survey.
The CNN/ORC International poll also indicates that nearly six in 10 Americans oppose the national health care law, but some give the Affordable Care Act a thumbs down because it isn't liberal enough. Forty-one percent say they are against the law because they think it's too liberal, and 14% say the measure doesn't go far enough. That means that 54% either support Obamacare or say it's not liberal enough. Ref. CNN
The White House announced Sunday it has met its goal to make the Healthcare.gov website operate smoothly for most users. After hardware updates and bug fixes that continued through the weekend, the federal health insurance exchange site now has the capacity to serve 50,000 people at a time, for a total of 800,000 people a day, according to a report Health and Human Services released this morning. Family of Daughter Requiring 86 Brain Tumor Surgeries Loses Insurance Under Obamacare
Eileen Benthal isn't sure what to do. The health insurance coverage she and her family had been relying on for years has been canceled thanks to Obamacare provisions that will force her to have to find new insurance.
Unfortunately, Benthal is one of many families whose experience with Obamacare is the opposite of what President Barack Obama and Democrat lawmakers voting for it promised would happen. Story after compelling story has surfaced of the families and people who ave lost insurance under Obamacare - with as many as 5.5 million people victimized by one of the many kinds of health care rationing pro-life groups opposing Obamacare predicted.
