I guess I should look on the bright side and they haven't been any killings because of it yet, due to either a conversion to Islam or that they pick up and leave (I guess a few can pay the tax). However, with this treatment at the outset, I have little hope for what Iraqi is about to turn into...especially if you are a woman or not the right religion.
What will make people want to live surrounded by others who hate them? Is it that they have no choice due to financial reasons or that they are Christ's witnesses in that part of the world? Either way I hope they can abide their time and get to safety.
