Sara Introduction

My question is this, how can we as a nation stand by while our basic rights are denied? I don't understand why Trinidadians are so complacent about the further delay of elections.

Ok - well, here I go then. About me, an introduction:
Married, one child, I fight for the rights of all animals. I have worked/volunteered with both the Animal Welfare Network and The Trinidad and Tobago Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (both orgs. Are connected with HSI on a spay/neuter project, and, I recently spoke at the HSUS expo in Vegas on working with the media as an Animal Welfare NGO in Trinidad). My political views are simple, I do not subscribe to any one political group, but look at their agenda and determine which party will serve the country best. I am a printer by profession and have studied advertising and PR, but, I've chosen to leave this field to persue the animal rights cause. I'm learning to speak Hindi at the moment (a) because it interests me ( because I'm an Anglo-Indian. I enjoy old movies (late 1930's, 1940's up to 50's) and have an eclectic taste when it comes to music. I love art, home-decorating, good food, great books and like to travel. Well, I think that about sums me up!
