Oas Introduction

My name is Olan [last name removed] and I was married in the Oakland Temple in November 1983 and have 4 children with only two left at home.

I love the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because it has blessed me in every aspect of my life.

I have learned that obedience to the commandments is what has brought the most happiness to my life. It truly brings freedom and happiness and the means to cope with the adversities of life.

I am particularly interested in those who have suffered from children that have left the church despite their best efforts to teach and raise them.

This has been the adversity that has been the most difficult for me personally.

So I am looking forward to communicating with anyone who struggles with this same issue.
