Cecil Carrington

Retired Assistant Commissioner of Police and member of the infamous Flying Squad, Cecil Carrington, was shot dead early yesterday morning at his Carrie's on the Bay, Manzanilla hotel by two men posing as prospective hotel guests.

Carrington, 67, father of five, who worked closely with former Commissioner of Police Randolph Burroughs, succumbed to the gunshot injuries in the hotel lobby.
