A MOTORCYCLE cop knocked down and injured a 43-year-old Arima woman on the Priority Bus Route in St Augustine yesterday. Listed in a serious condition at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex (EWMSC) in Mt Hope is Camilla Douglas, of Tumpuna Road in Arima. Ref. Source 7

While traveling I actually saw the aftermath of this. The bike was badly damaged so the woman must have really been hit badly. Bad idea to be crossing from behind a maxi.

Officer On Bike Hits Woman Caribbean / Tobago & Trinidad

Crossing out from behind any vehicle is a bad idea. You should stop at the edge of the vehicle and make sure that they way is clear before continuing to cross. I hope people do learn to be safer along roads.
