Patricia "patty" Hearst Kidnapping

What is your opinion on this case? Patricia Hearst was kidnapped by the Symbionese Liberation Army (SLA) back in 1974. But who truly is Patty Hearst? Why did she decide to "stay and fight" for the cause of the SLA? A typical rich girl, was she brainwashed after such a dramatic experience?

She was involved in a bank robbery and later on received a presidential pardon.
