Tom Hanks Says Mormons 'un-American'
What do you all think about Tom Hank's recent comments about those LDS members who supported Proposition 8?

When pro-homosexual laws and initiatives are passed, a certain group of people, including gay activists, Hollywood leaders, and liberal politicians celebrate the wonderful political freedom in the United States. When those same laws and initiatives fail, that same group can't wait to disparage and libel those who oppose them. They seek to undermine the very freedoms that they otherwise laud.
What it boils down to is that freedom of speech, assembly, and religion is fine - as long as it does not conflict with their special interests. They are doing everything they can to destroy the people who opposed them, including blacklisting them and driving them from their jobs. They use every slander and libel that they can come up with.
Expect to see a lot more of this, throughout the country.

Comments: I thought we practiced separation of church and state?
Didn't the Prophet recently state something about something being a matter of law and we don't involve ourselves in that kind of activity as a church?
I'm not for legalizing any kind of gay rights. But are our leaders schizophrenic or something? Or selective in the types of things we should engage in as far as the law goes?
I'm confused.
Does unamerican mean we're European or something? We got members over there to, right?
So I guess he may be right.
