Time to honour ANR Robinson
It is ingrained somewhere within the psyche of Trinidad and Tobago that our heroes are to be honoured after their death. That is, of course, unless they have captured our imaginations and worldwide attention on the sporting stage. But why not? Our sportsmen, as colourful as their public personas may be, are deserving of being showered with praise and all of the other ''gifts'' associated with their feats. Ref. Source 8

I find it grossly irresponsible on the part of certain media enterprises to report that ANR Robinson died just by seeing him collapse or hearsay. Health to him and especially his loved ones who may have heard the false reports and been unduly subjected to grief.
Well today, 9th April, 2014 truly does mark the passing of A.N.R. Robinson. All across the country many are talking about his positions held and the courageous stand he took against the insurrection known as the July 27th 1990 Coup Attempt.
