I've never been there but from what people have told me its like a dungeon on a hill. The place is in bad need of an upgrade to modern facilities so it isn't like a prison.

St Ann's patient died of blunt force trauma to head, chest
Autopsy:
AN AUTOPSY on the body of Allan Warner, the mentally ill patient from the St Ann's Hospital who died less ten days after being admitted to the hospital following a beating, revealed he died of blunt force trauma to the head and chest. The autopsy also confirmed he had three broken ribs, but was not bitten, nor did he do it to himself. Ref. Source 2
