If I understand you correctly you are asking if you still get your Skill Point even though you got an extra Skill because you +1 to Mind, if so the answer is "Yes". In a future world how intelligent and experienced you are allows for more Skills and expertise in those Skills.
I selected to have my skill in armor increase to level 2 but I was wondering if it also increases my AC? I read your description in the skill list but all it said was "Types of body armor". How would having a level 2 armor help my character out?
Good question. The idea behind the Armor Skill was having knowledge about preparing, wearing and making armor for your person. The higher your skill level the better chances you would know how to utilize any kind of body protection afforded to you. I like the idea of a direct AC bonus, I will consider it.
Is that "I will consider it" like a definite thing as in you will implement it or you don't know as yet?
Sorry, these days I am bogged down with my boys. I hope to get some time in the near future (a few days) to implement your suggestion as well as create the next Scenario. I do not like to rush things as I have to get the graphics, codes and content right for presentation. Thanks for your patience.
This is part question, part comment, and part suggestion. I like being squad leader but since the group got bigger it may be harder to track plus lots of room for errors because not every player makes their actions clear or they forget stuff and put may actions. I know the reasoning behind this system but how about if the players are responsible for posting their own actions and the party leader sort of gives a stamp of approval or amends anything? I'm not complaining or anything just looking to make sure I get it all done right. Thank you so much for reading me JB, I know you have loads to worry about than just a game.
Maybe is not my job to answer here but I believe that, as the Party Leader, it should be your job to make sure everybody uses the proper tags, posts clear actions and so on. As a suggestion: put rules. You can decide to ignore actions that are not clear or forbid people to post more than one specific action for each game update, like I just did (laugh) (this would be a great thing, Fair, because would force everybody to THINK before posting and all the group would benefit greatly from it).
If you want, we can decide common rules and apply them in both games so the procedure would be the same and people would get used faster to the new system. [Let] me know if you are interested.
I could put rules but why should I, there are rules already in place and the specific action facility is there. The thing is it is not just about that. There is a lot of in between discussion that takes place (as there should be) and some forget to add their actions. I guess my point is we can save our brainstorm thread for true role-play and deliberating the current problems in the game and then each player can somehow post their character's actions when they feel we've trashed it out. I don't know if I'm explaining myself correctly.
