Dear brother Wes this seems to be turning into a philosophical argument. I agree with what you're saying my dear brother but since I respect the beliefs of others I would say it is possible to be good without God because that's how they perceive it I cant say my neighbor believes in God because he doesnt. When he does good to people he does it because it makes him happy not because God asked him to do it at least thats what he tells me, he has lived in Utah all his life and remains an atheist.

Name: Bob
Comments: This, of course, assumes there is a deity in existence, which is a completely evidence-free claim. "Good" and "evil" are rather loose, Cyber-person terms. What exists is human morality, which evolved as all other human traits did. You can be moral without God, and you can be ethical without God.
In fact, a reasonable person would have to assume that everything we are, we are in the absence of God, as God cannot be detected by any means, direct or indirect, and would seem to be, at least to the honest observer, a creation in the minds of humans, and nothing more.
If you don't have a God or some other moral system similar to, then why would you need that. You'd just go for the quick highs like greed, lust etc. In life without a reason to be good to one another you usually be good to yourself first. That means you are mean to someone else.
I think it is impossible. Because one who makes you he is your creator. He know well what will make you good and what will make you bad. If anywhere you see some smoke, Then there must be some fire from where this smoke come. And like this if you believe in your soul you have to believe that God exist. Than it is true that someone created your soul and he is Allah.
