Myokymia

For about a month, I have been dealing with Eyelid Myokymia. Myokymia is when small facial muscles twitch. My lower left eyelid has been been twitching off and on for some time now and it is really bothering me. I feel like people can see it when they look at me even though some have told me they were unable to notice the twitch.
I have read that it can be caused by eye strain, lack of sleep, nerve problems, or stress. It can even be caused by certain brain disorders.

Has anyone else heard of Myokymia or suffered from a recurring eyelid twitch?

Myokymia

My wife did for awhile when she was under a lot os stress with her cancer and her job. I am glad that after these stresses were relieved that it went away. I know she is happy about that too.

I'm always under a lot of stress. I think for me it's related to the muscles being strained. I should start wearing sunglasses, but I really don't like to wear them. If it keeps up, then I may get my vision tested. I noticed a couple other twitches though, they were in my feet and only happened once in each one. First times I had any twitches in my feet though. It felt very weird.
