What exactly is the medical term Toxocariasis and how do you get it?

As far as I understand you can get it from ringworms. If you have a pet in the house (dog) make sure to get them medicated or the whole family can be infected as the worm is usually transferred from pet to child / adult. Makes me wonder about those pictures I see of the dog licking people's face - disease!
