7 wonders finalist Dead Sea is dying
SUWAYMAH, Jordan - The news was greeted with great fanfare: The Dead Sea, it was announced last week, is among the finalists in the competition to determine the seven natural wonders of the world. Up against the likes of the Grand Canyon and Niagara Falls, people here have high hopes that this salty inland lake will emerge victorious when worldwide ballots are tallied in 2011. Ref. Source 5

World The Wonders Natural Seven
The dead sea. The possible resting place for atlantis. If memory serves me correctly they did find a second old coast line well below the surface of the lake. The main problem is that Turkey? Or what ever country it is in does not allow many to research the dead sea.
